Small Production, Big Flavors
Church Creek Cellars is located in Santa Clara County’s premier growing region. Our philosophy is that great wines start in the vineyard, so we spend significant time walking through the vineyard inspecting the vines. This attention ensures regular farming adjustments are made, whether pruning and thinning to balance the vine’s canopy, or removing grape clusters to reduce yields. All of this in the quest to grow the best fruit possible. Our team embraces sustainable farming practices and we strive to extract the very best our vines can provide.
The wines we craft are bold and fruit driven. Most of our wines are made in small lots and blended together to achieve balance and complexity. At Church Creek Cellars, we also have the luxury of picking each block and each varietal at the peak of ripeness for the wine style we are trying to achieve. Using this approach enables us to elegantly shape our wines while allowing them to express the essence of the varietal. Our winemaking team is on a never-ending quest of continuous improvement, and this includes both education and process refinement.
Our outside tasting area overlooks panoramic views of the vines that produce our award-winning wines. Come and enjoy our wine while speaking directly to our winemaking team. Our winemakers will gladly answer any questions regarding our “vine-to-bottle” process. We truly enjoy sharing our craft with our guests.
Estate varietals include: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Sangiovese, Malbec, Zinfandel, Tempranillo, Syrah, Petite Sirah, Petit Verdot, and Pinot Noir.
